Any idea how long the RCA cable needs to be? I am guessing 1.5m-2m??

local dealer (Cartronics) who sold me an Alpine Sub today threw in a 3m cable - should be plenty so I recon 2m will give you all the leeway you need.

I would go 3m at least. 2M seems too short IMO $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

I eventually swapped my head unti today for an Alpine 173BT (more or less the same as a 133) but having spent the weekend sorting out my reversing camera, speakers and prepping the car for a trip to the Alps next Friday towing a trailer, I just didn't have time (or energy) to mess around with installing the sub. A couple for questions to add to the thread....

Do I need a special adapter to bolt the sub to the back of the cubby box? F so, is there a part number to ask my dealer to order for me? Again, can't find it on any microfiche or on TopIX. Where do the factory put the amp (battery box, as suggested here) and then the volume/gain controller?

Thanks,

Harry
