Mine was doing the exact same thing. Points and condenser fixed it.........I don't think yours has these

Had a similar problem with a Td5 once, it was the accelerator potentiometer.

Just a quick update,
Had a check at dealers last month and only 1 error code came up : mechanic said he'd never seen it before (something to do with command module iirc). He updated software, which made it noticeably smoother and slighty quieter. Still occasional hiccups though... Did 1500 plus miles, fully loaded, on peage to Landrauvergne and it ran brilliantly at 80. No hiccups even at 36 C. Has hiccuped back here in uk recently though so wondered if it might be fuel related? I normally use basic diesel. |
