Stu, I have resized your photo and placed it in my gallery. Go into the gallery, copy the image to your desktop and then go into your profile and select browse under avatar picture then select the photo from your desktop. Job jobbed. I just need to figure out how to reload mine now as I tried your image as my avatar and it worked....  If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

Welcome Stu,
In future just save the image to the desktop then edit/resize it so it meets the following criteria..... "An avatar is a small graphic image above your details in posts. Only one image can be displayed at a time, its width can be no greater than 150 pixels, the height no greater than 100 pixels, and the file size no more than 51 KB." You're then there..... If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

At last I have managed, I tried Paint and many other ways but just couldn't work it out, but the save to desktop and edit worked in seconds.

There is now an "Avatar" option in the box under images in the gallery.
Copy and paste this into the "Link to off site avatar" field when editing your Profile (towards the bottom) and it'll auto-resize  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top
