Sorry mate, if this wasn't your first post I would tell you how to get under the bonnet. However in this circumstance I suggest you contact the rac/aa/main dealer and get them to help you. For all we know you could be trying to steal the car. Sorry, I hope you understand.

I believe for the most part we're a friendly bunch on here so assuming you're not trying to steal they car perhaps you could suggest where abouts you are and there may be someone near by who could assist?
ps. is the horn making alot of noise too ? |

Fair enough I understand. Live on the Isle of Man so just to reassure you if it was stolen it cant drive anywhere haha It broke when I pulled the catch but seemed to detach not snap for some reason. Would love to get it done tonight as ive got some time to actually get some work done on it and it needs oil but perfectly understand where you're coming from.
