Hi there!
Strange, but from some time to now, when I turn on the ligth switch, the main light takes about 3-4 seconds in power up it. Doesn't matter if the Defender is cool or warm, or is the first time or not: happens always. Any thougth, maybe the relay is faulty? By the way, the odometer is now in 70.000 Km after less than 2 years of use. So I will be with the dealers during next week. Cheers! Maintenance only...
As my grandfather said is better a known devil than one to be known 
By the way, Defender prices here are going up to the sky in the last months. I bougth mine at the end of 2007 at GBP 16,388 (using the exchange rate of that time) and now, the same cost GBP 33,693 ... an increment of 105%
