I bought a good quality timber garage and raised it by putting it in a run of bricks all the way round which lifted the whole thing up by a brick plus motar height, asked them to put in rafters to minimise intrusion and made the doors a tad taller to fit the additional height of the bricks.
i can drive in easily and even jack it up a good 2 feet or so without concern, possibly more. 11ft x 22ft Click image to enlarge BM52 |

There are plenty of other companies around like the one suggested above, I used to work for one in Herefordshire and we built no end of different bespoke buildings. Just have a ring round with a clear plan in your mind, i.e. what footprint size, how high you want it internally, door sizes etc and let the quotes roll in.

That still puts you in the Southern Hemisphere as I live the other side of the river When I first moved to Hereford I used to live and work on a farm just outside Madley and as we grew a fair amount of spuds I was the spray operator and would travel miles spraying spuds for blight. We used to have ground towards Urishay, in Peterchurch, Kingstone, near enough all over Hereford! More than likely you've been stuck behind my sprayer more than once whilst trying to get somewhere

i have used Chart and Brookridge timber in the past. your location doesnt help narrow it down as UK,. but Brookridge (Somerset) are superb building with good cross sectional sizes compared to alot out there.
I wouldn't have chart again, 8 years down the line and supports have twisted. try any agri building specialist and get the size you want made. Cheers James 110 2012 XS Utility 130 2011 M57 bespoke Camper 90 2010 Hardtop 90 M57 1988 Hardtop |
