The drivers can't control them...
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-essex-22700172 And then they catch fire... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-23...ds-newsxml Oops ![]() ![]() ![]() "Land Rover- Proudly turning drivers into mechanics since 1948" ![]() |

Sad end to two great vehicles there, also a good illustration of why you should carry a fire extinguisher!
I still reckon that the Discovery 2 is a strong contender for the best true multipurpose private car of all time*. I love mine as much as I love my Defender. ![]() * I know that this is probably a contentious statement, but please don't feel you have to explain at great length why I am (a) wrong and (b) stupid! ![]() |

I agree!
Everything's a compromise but the DII is an excellent combination of size, comfort and mechanical complexity. Darren 110 USW BUILD THREAD - EXPEDITION TRAILER - 200tdi 90 BUILD THREAD - SANKEY TRAILER - IG@landroveranorak "You came in that thing? You're braver than I thought!" - Princess Leia |
