For sale is the 200 Tdi out of K-reg (1993) Discovery, with 119k on the clock.
Disco 200 Tdi Engine by udderlyoffroad, on Flickr Apologies for the poor-quality photo, grit in the eye from undoing bellhousing bolts meant I couldn’t see the shots were all out of focus till I saw them on the big screen! The Good bits: Starts first time on the button. All ancillaries present, please ask if there’s something specific you’re after. Currently all the hose-ry and the rad is there. Doesn’t smoke Already on a pallet or can help loading onto your transport with my engine crane (but I don’t have a pallet truck!!) The bad bits: Cambelt unknown Reak Crank seal needs changing Rocker cover gasket needs changing Frankly all of the bad bits, you’d be crazy not to do if doing a 200Tdi conversion on your ‘Fender/Series/Rangie anyway. Interior in ‘reasonable’ condition for its age – But I appreciate that’s less likely to be of interest to D2 members! Real trucks don't have spark plugs |
