Hello
Simple question, would a SS550HF Safari snorkel, the one with the integrated duct to the air box, fit a LHD 300 tdi? Or will it hit the heating duct? Here is the link to the said snorkel: http://www.safarisnorkel.com/snorkel/ss550hf/ss550hf.htm Thanks |

My fear is that the integrated duct that comes off the snorkel hits the heating ducting.
This ducting is one of the things that is making me consider the Safari, as it creates a safer seal |

I had the confirmation from a dealer that that snorkel will fit my car.
Anyway, the reason I'm looking at the Safari is that my current snorkel (a Mantec copy from Paddock) seems not to be up to the task on the very narrow paths that I sometimes use. It gets caught on every tree branch and the flexible hose keeps getting punctured |

I knew that thopic, but it was of little use to me as it describes the instalation of the snorkel on a RHD Defender, so without the air heater ducting on that side
