Any preference on year ?
There are a whole range of different harnesses for TD5s, they're not all compatible with one another. I have a spare 2001 TD5 bulkhead harness, for example, which is of no use in a post 2002 TD5. To make life easier for yourself you need to make sure the chassis harness and bulkhead harness are from the same year. http://www.yorkshireoffroadclub.net/ |

I think i will go with a Pre 2002 one. As my donor TD5 motor is from a 2000 Disco 2.
Thanks for the heads up! |

I have a basic 2001 bulkhead loom and engine loom, the engine loom doesn't have the A/C wiring as far as I can see although for the engine loom the A/C wiring is straight forward to add on. The bulkhead looms all have the A/C connection as far as I am aware but I'll double check if you're interested. I may also have a new wing loom which I think is a LHS one.
I've not used the two used looms myself but they look to be in OK condition - I was mis-sold them a while ago on one of the forums and have been meaning to put them on ebay ever since ! Be aware that the pre-2002 spec doesn't have the facelift dashboard with the switches and console in the centre of the dash. Let me know if you're interested and I'll figure out what the shipping would be or if it's a long term project I can hand deliver them next year http://www.yorkshireoffroadclub.net/ |
