Fitted the Old Man OME steering damper, after fitting larger wheels 305/70x16 was starting to get steering wheel judder at between 50-60mph. Had the front wheels balances checked, they were ok so fitted the new damper and went for a run. The new heavy duty steering damper seems to have cured the judder.
Click image to enlarge Next job is to fit New springs and heavy duty shocks to rear, then off to Rustmaster to get the Landy Waxoyled Uploaded the pictures for the add ons to the Safari Equip steering guard: Steering Guards 2" receiver: Click image to enlarge With recovery Billet and 4 ton shackle: Click image to enlarge Drop plate with Alko towball: Click image to enlarge |

A bit late but on Fri I took my Challenge 90 for it's MOT. I blew the LT77 box in Mar last year. Took it off the road and then in the summer I started on the engine/box change. Took the 200TDI out and dropped a 300TDI and auto in. Went for MOT and failed on rear ind not working, no main beam on N/S and a bit of play in a rar wheel bearing.
1hr later it was back in the test centre and I was walking out with a nice certificate from the man to say I was legal again. So neeed to put some gentle miles under the wheels before I start throwing it at the scenery 110 D250 SE HT 110 USW SOLD RRE HSE Dynamic Gone, wife killed it VOLVO XC60 R Dynamic with some toys Polaris RZR 900XP SOLD |
