1) Took older neighbour to doctor.
2) Took the same neighbour to buy whiskey.
3) Rescued another neighbour's child who had been stuck in school for a night due to snow.
4) Took my own kids to buy Christmas tree.
5) Put said tree up.
6) Took said tree down after wife stood there, and said 'it's crooked'.

I was in the Yorkshire Dales today and I

towed a taxi which had got stuck on a hill
pulled a focus out of a ditch

and the best one -

Pulled a council gritter complete with snowplough and half a load which had got one wheel stuck in a ditch going round a steep corner, and the rear slipping over, opposite wheel off the ground. we worked out that the overall vehicle weight was about 20 tonnes. Was a little nervous about trying this so went gingerly but blow me down not only did it work, it worked brilliantly. one of the truck guys said "you ll burn out your clutch in seconds" I said lets give it a try. Amazing. Sadly no pic but this is undoubtedly my best tow yet (in any vehicle)
