Got mine back from Morrisons for a number plate panel re-paint for the second time due to a bad match the last time. Good now. 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

Nothing problematic (I hope ) - it's gone in to have the tow bar etc fitted that hadn't arrived in time for PDI. John http://www.hampshire4x4response.co.uk 2011 Tdci 110 CSW XS |

They did that to me too. It was the top end model (SD4 HSE) yet it still failed to charm me. Not a bad machine for it's purpose but at £38k, "not bad" is not good enough. Defender 110XS SW gone... now VW California 180 4 Motion. |

Yep - this one was a SD4 XS. Nice 'car' to drive and lots of toys - auto lights and wipers etc. They strike me as being more of Range Rover Classic / P38 replacement than being an update to the 'cheap' entry level Landrover. Not for me though - it's just not a Defender.
It's back at the dealers now and I have the 110 back - rear step and wingtops fitted - and washed John http://www.hampshire4x4response.co.uk 2011 Tdci 110 CSW XS |

Today I did two important jobs - fitted the Defender2 sticker at last and fitted the variable intermittent wiper delay. John

Got let off a parking ticket in town. Parked the 110 in a loading bay, was four minutes (you're allowed five) but got ticked off for not actually loading (bought some running shorts!). Was about to protest but the guy let me off anyway - some traffic wardens ARE human after all!!! Defender 110XS SW gone... now VW California 180 4 Motion.

I've had a freelander a few times. i liked it. Quick on the road and extremely capable off road. I took it round the driffield course last year and didn't have any problems at all. Was fun. Not sure why they seem to get such a bad press really.
