Point 5 might be your Air Con Barry, it drops the water collected when you stop. Most of the wings seem to have a droopey look and yes most of the Geniune LR parts do rust quickly as the metal isn't prepared properly - it's all been rusting like this for years - no fun if you have forked out on a roofrack Sad Many suppliers stopped selling the stuff because of the complaints. Go and have a look at the rear edge of your front bumper Shocked It will be going soon if not already Rolling Eyes

I'm going to get all my dodgy bits galvanised before they get too rotten, sorts the issue out for good and it is only about £1 per Kg to do so or throw your bits in for instance with a local farm gate maker or similar when they get there stuff done. It's scary throwing your bits on a pile with everyone else's stuff but you do get it all back again nice and shiny in galv Thumbs Up

Can find nearest galvanisers here http://www.galvanizing.org.uk/index.php?cm...ing+Plants

Cheers Zagato,

Re point 5 , it is definitely oil that is dripping , I cleaned it off one night and then looked the following morning and it was back , it has also splashed on the exhaust to the side.

I don't want to look at my bumper now , lol , maybe some dark glasses or something will help me avoid seeing these things. I will see what they do with the lap guards and take it from there.

I saw another thread re alignment and it got a similar response to yours , although the guy from the workshop agreed with me so maybe there is an issue , we will see. Can't believe they have the lap guards in different places , one is overlapping the silver of the lamp surround at the top , the other there is air between guard and surround.

Well over the last few days I;

1) washed and waxed the defender.
2) installed a mantec rear window guard
3) installed the entreq rear mud fall brackets, just in time for the passenger side.
4) had it picked up for the p022 recall and a service. Due back Wednesday. Russell

Gave it a good wash and wax over the weekend and then finally got round to fitting various bits that I have been accumulating for a while! KBX grille, wing top vents and side air intake along with clear lens headlights, clear indicators and black and silver badges.

I know some of you won't like it, but I am really chuffed with the results - think it looks the dogs! Just needs some chunkier tyres on now and it will be very close to how I want it for the moment! Some pics:

Used the 110 to shift a Mercedes Vito van on my trailer. Sadly I didn't get any photos, but the 110 performed well. 2011 110 USW

It doesn't need photos - performing well goes without saying Thumbs Up

Yes and no. You really do feel it behind you, and that was nowhere near its towing limit. That said, oxfordshire country roads probably didn't help. 2011 110 USW

Morrisons delivered me defender back to me after it's first service and p022 recall, looking very shinny.
