Yesterday evening retrieved Landy from the local garage Thumbs Up
Both back corners re-piped and new flexi hose too due to ABS.

Very impressed with our local independent garage, even claim the chap who did the work was ex Land Rover with 6 years experience. Only charged 3 hours labour to bend up two whole brake lines and a free wash - can't say fairer!

Happy to have her back.

Did a tip run. moved a few bags of cement, sand and gravel.
Washed, waxed, polished the 110, hoovered inside and cleaned the glass
Fitted a pair of LED strobes behind the front grill. 1999 Defender TD5 110

Delved into my spares box and replaced the goosed front prop UJ on the 110. Whilst I had it jacked up a quick check of the front wheel bearings showed that the OSF needed a tighten up and replaced the hub flanges (another item in the spares box) on the front.
When I was looking through the spares box I spied the Jate rings I bought off a mate a couple of years ago so they went on as well, just needed a little opening up to fit over the steering guard Whistle
There's quite a few things in that spares box that I have been collecting over the years that could do with being fitted such as the 12S socket and genuine loom I picked up around 3 years ago from Duckworths at Peterborough Land Rover Show, a remote control for the rear work light and a whole load of gadgets that have taken my fancy but not yet fitted.
I could allmost start a new thread entitled "What have you bought and not yet fitted?" plus "How long have they been in that box?" Whistle
