...out of pure curiosity, punched it on the highway to see how fast it can actually go..reached 140km/h at which point i havent yet floored accelerator pedal, and i slowed down as whole feeling was weird, moving that fast from such tall vehicle..to my surprise, i havent noticed any vibration of any kind at all at such speed (i consider high for this car)..steering was perfectly fine and without any vibration as well as whole car...im positively surprised...how fast this thing can actually go, considering that i havent floored pedal and it was on 140km/h and i felt, it could go more...it just doesnt feel safe at all..and i mean..at all..this truck is a lot of fun..

Added a couple of finishing touches and now to give her a good wash n polish
Great service from LRParts. They received my order Monday morning. Goods arrived here in the south of France on Wednesday morning and delivery was only £10. Now why cant all companies be that good Had to improvise and make a secure backing plate to fix that front badge onto the grill, but its done the job. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge |

Can''t drive it due to spinal surgery 10days ago so been pottering around taking the light guards and ladder off. As soon as I can drive I'll take them to be powder coated. Probably gloss black but maybe dark silver or gunmetal gloss.

Used my compressor in my 90 to put some air in a wheelbarrow tyre I needed.
I knew the tyre casing was a little shoddy / aged which is why I kept psi to just 20. Used the barrow for a bit, rip, bang. Tyre blew. Quite cheap but hey ho.. Will have to get another. It's so annoying when the damn things go pop when you're holding them. Since when did wheelbarrow tyres and tubes become so plastic?

True, that's if they don't puncture first.
Stopped that issue with Slime but wore out instead. KEEP CALM AND Drill ON 🇬🇧ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ¥ó ®ó §ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ·ó ¬ó ³ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ³ó £ó ´ó ¿ðŸ‡®ðŸ‡ªðŸ‡ºðŸ‡¸â›½ï¸ðŸ›¢ï¸âš™ï¸ðŸ§°ðŸ’ª |

Back on the train, through London with the youngster, to pick up the defender having spent the week been given the Zagato treatment.
Realised mid week it's the London to Brigthon run, and was even given a pass from SWMBO, on the proviso I took the nipper. Try as I might, I couldn't make taking a 17 month child and the basic of basic camping gear, on the train across London work in my head. Spotted loads of Land Rovers whilst driving back though 2007 - Stornoway Grey 90 XS SW - Gone 2002 - Black Discovery II - Gone 2014 - Montalcino Red 110 XS SW |
