Did you have to haggle and whats a good discount 5% ? Or more, didn't want to go to local dealer and start asking for more that they can give and put their back up, don't know what the mark up is, is it possible to buy direct from ifor ?

I phoned around and bluntly told each one exactly what I wanted, how I was going to pay (bank transfer) and that I was phoning around. He was the cheapest. Unfortunately it was a while ago and I can't remember the exact figures, sorry mate

I'm hoping to be in the market for a new Ifor at some point when funds allow. I would be paying in hard cash and ask for a discount. Whether I'd get one or not who knows but I'd imagine so. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

Not sure about buying direct normally, but they do sell ex display models at the factory every now and again (just down the road from me!) An engine to TDi for! "Land Rover- Proudly turning drivers into mechanics since 1948" |

Try Blains brought from them in the past and used to do deals. They do tyres as well so a bigger deal could induce a bigger discount

Second vote for Keith Blain - all our trailers have come from them. Their yard is well worth a visit!!

Ifor William trailers are in high demand. You will not get massive discounts, maybe 5% or a little higher. Problem with getting that little bit extra discount you may well have to travel long distances so any extra discount might well be eaten up in extra fuel costs.
Instead of trying to get maximum discount consider items such as a good quality wheel clamp etc. You will need one! Ifor William trailers do hold their value extremely well. However you can still sometimes get a lightly used one at a decent price. We have just managed to get a lightly used one at a good saving over even the best discounted price that we were offered. That was through one of our 'hired friends' who knew what we were after. Just be careful if buying second hand especially off the bay as these trailers are targeted by less desirable elements in society Brendan |

Had good advice from Cotswold Trailers. Discounts looked reasonable but managed to find a second hand one myself
JK No the other left . . . |
