WANTED - speedo for 200/300 tdi
Anyone got a working speedo surplus to requirements. Mine has just given up the ghost at 99999.99 miles Shocked

I'm assuming its the speedo as I can still hear the cable clicking round, so I don't think its the cable. I have had one go before at a similar mileage which is a bit odd. Preferably with similar mileage on it but not crucial. Last one came from Croytec 2nd hand and has lasted a few years.

Its to fit an 1989 90 and I'm assuming anything pre TD5 will fit.

Anyone got one surplus to exchange for cash let me know please.

Hi DJ,

Installing a Td5 speedo on a 200/300Tdi is quite possible.
You'll need to change the pick-up on the transfer box and install some wiring it's not that complicated.

I've even designed and build a circuit to make the Td5 speedo display the correct mileage Wink.
