2005 Defender 90 Td5 HT Epsom Green
TD5 90 rear springs
Have been lurking on here for quite a while and until now found what ive needed with a search.
But, the rear of my 90 is looking rather saggy. From searching around on here it apears that most are a little bit back end down.
As I'm running a brown church roof rack, 265/75/16s on steel modulars and about to fit a wheel carrier theres not much left in the springs and put stuff in it and its more or less on the bump stops.
From what i understand theres many options, progressive, HD, front from different models etc.
Im swaying towads progressive but some opinions and advie would be much arpeciated
Thanks in advance
Callum

I've got a pair of TF light load front springs here, only fitted on a 110 for two weeks.

If somebody can confirm that they would be OK for the rear of a TD5 90 I can work out a price for you if you are interested.

Evening Bob,

How did these springs ride on you 110DC? I've also got a DC, mainly for use on the school run and dune bashing in the desert. Looking to change spring in the near future for a less firm ride... Are the TF ones good on/off road? Cheers Mike. P.S popping back to Yeovil area in a couple weeks if you have any leftovers . Thanks again

Hi Mike

With a winch on the front they were fine but I actually found the standard fronts suited my vehicle better with the winch. The TF's did add about an inch lift to the front with a winch, I was trying to compensate for the drop, but it would probably be more without a winch.

Not 100% sure how they would handle a non winch equipped vehicle.

Drop me a PM when you are back in the Yeovil area, we can meet up for a beer or two Thumbs Up

Cheers Bob, this visit is only a quick one. Visiting the folks and attending a cheeky reunion at Yeovilton. Will give you a shout when in the neighbourhood for a more usable period. The same offer is open to you if you pass through Dubai.
