Mudstuff dash - switch locations
Purchased a Mudstuff dash at the Donnington 4x4 show. Finally got around to ordering the first batch of Carling switches.
Now, pondering the location of them. Do I go across the top angled part, across the front (top) and stereo across the bottom, or switches across the bottom and stereo across the top.

I was thinking switches across the bottom and stereo above so, if I ever get a stereo with a flip out screen the screen won't obstruct the switches.

What have others done? 1999 Defender TD5 110

Is there enough space behind the top angled section to get a standard size head unit in there? I often find in Defenders that you can't read the screen on the HU because it's at the wrong angle for the driver. Might be good to have the HU angled up in the top section for better visibility and easier operation. Obviously no good for a flip-out type HU. 2005 Td5 | 90 Station Wagon | Tonga Green
