Sorry to people who've been in touch-my work has been mad of late and it's the first chance i've had to get in front of my computer for more than 5 minutes at a time.
Brief outline, Sept 2010 XS Utility wagon. Tax and warranty until sept. Just had 36000 mile service inc brakes. Also, as I'm selling I took full advantage of the warranty to sort out any "niggles", due to minor surface corrosion the dealer replaced the front bumper, side steps, headlamp retaining rings and the windscreen "hinges". Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Detailed description. I bought this 110 with the intention of keeping it for a (very) long time as at the time I thought it was going to be one of the last of the defenders. With this in mind the inside of the chassis and the whole of the underside was coated with Mil-spec wax on day one with a 2nd coat for good measure the following spring (after full clean.) Keeping with the long term theme I run the engine in very carefully and as I have a 110 TD5 HD hardtop to do any "heavy" work it's done no towing and only seen a few wet field crossings. It's spent it's life with me commuting to work (45 mile round trip) daily and as the family bus. Due to the lack of towing done/planned it's fitted with http://extreme4x4.co.uk/acatalog/copy_of_c...WBARS.html to avoid shin bashing when putting stuff in the back. Also fitted with a Mantec wheel carrier and snorkel. Inside I lifted all the carpets and fitted foil/bitumen sound deadening stuff wherever possible. On top of this any panels that didn't have carpet (inside hardtop etc) have had proper auto carpet fitted (see pics) Click image to enlarge I've fitted a nice alpine sound system with alpine speakers, integrated bluetooth handsfree, full ipod/iphone connectivity and a powered Alpine subwoofer (see pic.) Click image to enlarge Bodywork is unmarked. Ignore the wheels in the pictures, these were on while the 110 went for servicing (it had been running 20" Supersport alloys with cooper tyres but I don't like the dealer mechanics fiddling with non-standard spec stuff (torque settings for adaptors are very specific) I'm looking for £20000 (no VAT) with the original boosts & Grabbers or £21000 with the 20" wheels (the adaptors are the low profile twisted performance version (racing spec) so no need for wider arches.) Only being replaced due 1.accountant recommending new vehicle for tax reasons and 2.Wife want's an auto. Neither of them would get their way if I didn't still have my TD5. Replacement has arrived so available immediately. I'm sure there's loads of other good stuff i've not mentioned so will add as I remember. I live in Ruthin in North Wales but work part of the week in Chester. Sad to let her go but 4 cars is 1 too many. He who dies with the most toys...wins! |

Okay, so I need to get my finger out to sell her, warranty/tax/insurance going to waste.
Pics below sporting the 20"s. Looking in region of £19500, been offered £18500 by main agent and they'll collect it so if no takers soon I'll free up some space in the garage (not really-got my eye on a nice SIII 1-ton!!) Shame to go on the forecourt where they'll obviously sell it for more . Click image to enlarge He who dies with the most toys...wins! |

Hi mate, I had a 2010 Stornaway XS utility with a mantec carrier, with 36,000 miles, I ended up last oct getting £19,500 for it on a PX deal.
Hope this helps as a guide Tack I miss it like he'll too |
