Recommendations For Anti Corrosion Work In West Country!
A friends father has a 4 year old Discovery with a badly corroded chassis. He is 90 so he would prefer to get it done somewhere around Devon but will come up to me if he has no alternative.

Does anyone know anywhere he can take it to, seemed to remember a place in Somerset mentioned once!

Morning Zag, good to see you back Thumbs Up

Give Richard at West Somerset land Rover a call (Wellington). If he can't do the work I am sure he will suggest somebody.

Thanks James will pass the contacts on, forgot about D44, I should have remembered them Rolling Eyes Thumbs Up

He's a very wealthy guy so can afford D44 Whistle runs a car at Goodwood that an ex Ayrton Senna mechanic drives for him, forgotten the car type, something like DRG but it has an ex Mike Hawthorn D type engine in it. Wish I sold pensions 50 years ago Sad OK wasn't born then but....

Is that near the Wellington Monument - off the A38? Land Rover Defenders. 67 years heritage, minimal appearance changes, still going strong all over the world. Not a fashion vehicle, but fashionable to own. Made for the needy, not the greedy. Ta ta Defender

It's near Greenham off the A38 going towards Exeter, can't be seen from the A38.

Must say chaps I'm slightly confused. I'm really interested in this too please as I live in Torquay and have a new 90 XS. I'm afraid I don't really understand the shorthand on this thread can someone please translate this into useable information for a simple newbie like me? Many thanks Embarassed

I believe D44 refers to Devon 4x4
http://www.devon4x4.com/ Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's)
