Harrogate Car Parking
Hi all,
I'm off to the Harrogate International Centre next week for a work show/exhibition thing. Now, I've been in the car park before, but only in a German saloon, so does anyone know the height of the underground car park?
Also, can anyone recommend any parking near to the exhibition centre where I may fit? (Preferably walking distance!)

Cheers in advance

Last time I was there I parked on street in one of the little residential estates to the NE of the centre. There usually are some spaces around and about. Every time I've been recently the main multi-storey has been full by the time I've got there. Probably not as issue if you're exhibiting and arriving early. Don't know about the height restriction in the multi-storey I'm afraid. 2005 Td5 | 90 Station Wagon | Tonga Green

I usually park at the Tower Street pay and display (which is opposite Tower Street multi storey) and usually has spaces. It is behind the Coach and Horses pub on West Park- HG1 1BJ - It's also on the right side of town if you're heading in from the west side or A61.

A few minutes walk down West Park and Parliament Street takes you to the Conference and Exhibition Centres.

Thanks, I'll bear that in mind. I'm rather hoping that it'll fit in the exhibition centre car park, but failing that I'll implement yiur idea Thumbs Up An engine to TDi for!

I think the surface level car park on Tower Street (but called West Park) is only a short stay of 4 hours so if you are going to be all day at the HIC that may not work.

For surface level car parks, including charges and lengths of stay check out this link

http://www.harrogate.gov.uk/prkg/Pages/Car...Level.aspx

Unfortunately Harrogate Council doesn't give height restriction info on its website, which isn't at all helpful! The Surface level car parks should be fine as, AFAIK, none of them have overhead barriers. One of the closest surface levels to the Conference Centre is Park View - it is 24 hour and mid-priced, and is usually fine for finding a space most times. Our blog - http://landytravels.com/
