2007 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Stornoway Grey

STALLING WHEN STARTING UP FROM COLD

Can anyone offer pointers on why my 07 Defender has begun to stall on idling soon after starting from cold and intermittently will only rev to 3000.
It'll idle smoothly then revs dip and return, dip and then stall.

Definitely Fuel Rail failure on cold start up............ stop, turn engine off, and on three times to clear the problem on the dash and the ECU.
If it reoccurs which it did in mine twice, and twice it had a new Rail. Fault cutting supply of diesel on start up.
Hope its not that, but it does sound familiar
