2010 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Stornoway Grey

Front wheel removal...

Yesterday it took me nearly 30 minutes to get a wheel off to change the pads, and that's after jacking, supporting and removing the wheel nuts!... (b45tard stealers said pads needed changing immediately.... 8mm left on them!)
One side all nicely lubed up, and almost fell off, but the nearside... Well what an absolute fekker to get off the hub... Would have been easier if I had left the wheel nuts on!

Might be a good idea to pop the wheels off every 6 months or so and copperslip the flanges... ooo errr missus!! ... ,-------,

Don't know if I am reading it right- I am guessing you are saying that the wheel wasn't coming away from the hub after taking the nuts off?

If so a short sharp kick to the tire normally pops it off

I copper greased mine 3 years ago, and still not needed to do it again.

I had to give it about 50 short sharp kicks to get the wheel off... Really was seized to the hub..
Took longer to get the wheel off than change the brake pads! ... ,-------,

Did they accidentally use Araldite instead of anti-seize grease?..... Then again, knowing some of the dealers out there
