United Kingdom 2015 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 HT Montalcino Red
Oil change today
After now doing just over 2.5k miles on the 3.2 I changed the oil Shocked

Think I need my own oil rig 10 litres of the finest 5-30 Confused

Does sound nicer though with the new oil Thumbs Up

Steve 2015 2.2 tdci hardtop xs
3.2 conversion DONE 238bhp and 707nm torque and thats just the start ;-P
hybrid turbo in build -done ready to fit
ashcroft atb in transfer box
6 speed auto in build

I ordered a nice big tub of the stuff from Opie oils. Enough to do both the Landy and the wifes Focus with a little bit left over for topping up. 1999 Defender TD5 110

Yer I had a box of 5l can changed mine today and the be in law done his 2.4 the other night so that's all gone Sad not a cheap hobby Whistle

Not cheap at all. I try and do mine every 6months and the Focus every 12. 1999 Defender TD5 110

obviously you wont go this far on oil but the great thing with the 3.2 in the Transit is 30k service intervals Very Happy & although you have the expense of the second oil filter works out cheaper than the 4 cylinders which are 20k intervals . The 2.2 holds a similar amount of oil in the Transit, is this the same in the Defender ?

Mine only has one oils filter Thumbs Up

And I'm not sure about the other question ?
