A catch can will require maintenance and you will still get blow-by so it needs to be vented to atmosphere, or plumbed into the air intake. You need to remember to drain it, and if you don't make it easy it won't get done.
The ProVent 200 seems to be a popular choice, if you can plug the return back to the sump them maintenance will be only when the filter needs changing. Loads of discussion about this on TD5s but first time I have heard a tdci owner worrying about this. |

A current thread on this:
http://www.defender2.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=214771#214771 I'm fitting one to my Puma, mostly to save the MAF from oiling up. It will have to be maintained (emptied) though. Just a . On the end of the URL, that's what happens when the punctuation police take over.. |

Great minds...
By the way - how do you get your version of the link to go to the beginning of the thread? I just copy and paste the URL but then it only catches the thread at the end Tell someone you love them today because life is short. It should go straight to the top of the thread, it does for me. To get it to launch further down I would need to have used an argument at the end of the URL to reference a specific post.

Still waiting for an angle connector and a couple of clips before mounting it in its final position, which will be the same as MD5's
You can see on the other thread I avoided welding. Fortunately, I had the hardware to do so Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |
