Driven to Extremes on Discovery channel 9pm Sunday
New tv program, Driven to Extremes on Discovery channel this Sunday at 9pm. Looks good.

1st one is road of bones with Mika Salo ( Fin race driver ) and Tom Hardy ( actor )

Hope it's ok, I like this type of programme after watching the trucking one Greeni pointed out.

What did y'all make of it?

I couldn't really get into it, there didn't seem to be a lot of driving really, or anything that showed how dangerous or rough the road was. No edge of the seat stuff like when Charley Boorman and Ewan McGregor rode it on the bikes for Long Way Round... Seemed a bit boring. Or maybe I need to rewatch it again...

I enjoyed it, but definitely needed more driving and details of the prep to make it interesting.

Will be watching the series.

+1 Thumbs Up
The rest of the series looks okay, as there are some different places, rather than just snow/ice which looks a bit boring after a while! An engine to TDi for!

Just realised its the same Patrol they're driving through the jungle that they drove across the Road of Bones.

They're well travelled! Would be interested to know how well they stood up to all the off road stuff, and if they had any breakdowns etc.

Big old school diesel though!
