2010 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 HT Stornoway Grey

Snow in Ashbourne ??..Saturday?

I have agreed to tow my mates caravan to a site just north of Ashbourne first thing tomorrow.
To be sited over summer.
He is stressing about snow...or possibility of.
(I'm not too worried!)

Anyone local give me an update on the road conditions around Ashbourne?

3 hours ago we drove through and stopped for a drink in the town centre. Roads were clear and while snowing, wasn't settling. However once headed towards Buxton, huge snow drifts and roads white out in places.

Ashbourne was completely clear at that time though.

Just come back over the cat and fiddle . 4x4 yes anything else forget it .
Buxton to Macclesfield the wind is whipping the snow into amazing drifts.

I've just watched the weather and theve forecasted 20-40cm of snow over the peaks, hopefully for you Ashbourne is south so hopefully miss it!
