We had a club stand last year at the Eastnor show and it was good but poorly attended - at shows many of the members are traders as well so they are tied up.
A separate gathering works best, we've done the L2B for the past years but it is late in the year and a bit chilly. I'd vote for somewhere a bit more central and not too close to a big show. John http://www.hampshire4x4response.co.uk 2011 Tdci 110 CSW XS |

Okay.... so where the f*ck were you all then ????
Even though this meet was cancelled, we trundled along the M40/M25/M26 friday evening and went to the site as it looked pretty smart and I'd promised my lad a camping weekend for his tenth birthday. As an added bonus, a decent place to eat within walking distance and another a mile or so further up the road. Much of the time was spent geocaching in the local area and letting (ahem) him win at various campsite sporting events. Great fun, despite the changeable weather. I did wonder if I may see another forum member who may have had the same idea independently of me but sadly, was not to be. A few pics.... All pitched up and ready for the pub. A brief pause at the end of one of the byways we cached along. Stunning rural scenery Might be time to upgrade to a slightly bigger tent though.... Jon - 110 td5 [sold]. Currently Defenderless. |

No need to feel bad mate. I appreciate the effort you and Ibexman put in to try to get it off the ground in the first place. Jon - 110 td5 [sold]. Currently Defenderless.
