Intercooler
Evening all,
Tried searching but couldn't find an answer. Question I have is: If i fit an Intercooler just by itself will it make much difference on standard tune?
I have the EGR blanked off already.

I notice Flatdog have fast road spec intercoolers for £295 ex VAT which seems reasonable.

Would value peoples opinions before spending out and not being happy.
I have looked at Alisport, but there e-bay shop doesn't have any for TD5 with AC.

Cheers Smile

It will make a difference but not massively. What reasons do you have for leaving it in standard tune? Your money would be much better spent having a remap.

Hi Pete.

Would like a remap, but not many people doing it around here and don't want to go somewhere that it's just an extra!
Can't justify travelling up north until September for a holiday.
Finding good garages that understand what you want is hard and expensive to just try.

Talk to Gary at Alive. He has done mine and my wife's both at shows, but you can send him our ECU, or other ways of doing these things.

I have just a mild tune, no massive power increase, but very drivable and more importantly, reliable,

Andy
