For future reference, it appears they're two (at least) versions of the boss, one has longer lugs.
"If you have a Boss 5802, then the item with Longer lugs would be a 5802LR version" Hopefully I'll swap and it will fix the problem. Cheers Simon |

Hopefully you will be sorted now
Just had a good search for the 'LR' version and can't find any mention of them, even on the Momo site. Where are you getting the replacement from ? It got the wheel and boss from here:-
http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_id/5941.html I specified the Defender model (2001 TD5 90) and that it was 48 spline. No-one has ever mentioned long or short boss lugs..! Anyway, they will swap for the correct one, so hopefully it'll be fixed. I'm actually not 100% sold on the wheel either - its a very nice wheel, but at 350mm it feels a little small compared to the original. Perhaps I should have just gone for a leather, XS wheel instead. The only thing wrong with my original wheel is that its not that easy to hold, being a plastic type covering. Ah well, live & learn... Thanks for the help. cheers Simon |

So, the story ends with the fact that the supplier can't supply the correct boss and will refund me.
Chris, can you supply a boss that has the longer lugs to engage with the indicator self canceller..? The Momo part number they were trying to get for me was A5802LR, does that make sense..? Cheers Simon |
