Normally, I do not like to "cut" the original harness/wiring......
So for the installation of the cruise control it is necessary 3 "Y" connections 1. the throttle (provided by the kit seller) 2. The clutch switch (normally the installation need to "current steals" (that I hate, I do not know the correct translation) 3. The brake switch C0029L (the right switch, not the left), same as point 2. So I create my own "Y" The brake one isn't easy, I bought the female (Motorcraft) from USA and I create the male one sacrificing a new brake switch Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge everything flooded with hot glue Click image to enlarge and the clutch "Y" (commercial connectors) Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated Discovery 5 td6 HSE Stornoway Gray Outback Engineering Limited Edition IID Pro MV License |
