My dad and I rebuilt a 35 some years back.
he had the head sorted out, block re-bored with new pistons, and it was still a right pig to start, even from hot. Ended up just keeping a can of easystart on it. |

Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades. Current Defender: A non tarts hand-bagged Puma 110 XS USW. good luck with the restoration.
I took the easy route and bought one that someone else had restored It's a '62 so the 3 cylinder version. |
