Off to Auction
Hello, Can anyone give me an idea of the reserves I should consider for
1) 1951 Lights thru the grill Hardtop 80 with 2 litre Spreadbore 1957 engine.
Restored some years ago by Lindsay Porter. Very good nick and daily runner. Bronze green White top

2) 2015 Defender Landmark 90 S.W 8800 miles virtually as new, but with full undersealing from new
Optimil removable S/Wheel and 150 bhp re- map Montalchino Red with paint guard,
Just serviced and mot
Any suggestions very welcome
thanks
I also assume that the Nakatanenga Spare Wheel Hanger and the lockable spare wheel security plate should both be removed first and everything returned to as original as possible ? 1983 Series 3 Pick up in Marine Blue

I am afraid that as 80 approaches in the not too distant future, a far softer ride is required Big Cry 1983 Series 3 Pick up in Marine Blue

I'm sorry to hear that, Swine but I can understand the want for a more comfortable ride.

Can't help on price. I would love both so if my lottery tickets come up in the next week, I will be in touch Laughing

I don't know if there are more suitable or specialist auction you could sell at rather than a general automotive one?

I did not put it on sale here as I assumed that most already had what they wanted.
I have a couple of auctions in mind and will decide tomorrow after speaking to them about their estimates, which are both the same at £15 - 20K for the 80" and £30 - 40 K for the 90"
My first thoughts on reserves were just about the bottom as I do not want them back or should not is more accurate, but others opinions welcome as another has said anything short of £18K and £35 K would be a silly price to let them go at.
A lot has changed since I bought my first car nearly 60 years ago and senility is always a concern Whistle 1983 Series 3 Pick up in Marine Blue

If going for Auction perhaps consider the Collecting Cars Auction site, I recently sold a Porsche 911 through that site and was very pleased with the service and the result.

Sorry to hear they might have to go. I wish I could take the 80" off your hands Big Cry

It will be a sad day for you. No family willing to take them on? James
