2008 Defender 130 Puma 2.4 HCPU Alpine White

Where is the engine number stamped?

Does anyone know where to find the engine number on the puma engine block?

Our 130 is in the dealers and they can't find the number. Don't ask!

2007 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 SW Chawton White

The engine serial number (12 digits) and engine code (5 digits) are stamped on the exhaust side of the cylinder block, parallel to the transmission clutch housing.

and the engine identification plate is located on the cover of the timing cover. It contains the date and time of
manufacture and the engine part number.

Tomorrow, I will go to the dealers and take a look for myself.
