Police are appealing for people to remain vigilant after thefts of Landrover vehicles in recent weeks.

The first took place at some point between Saturday 16 February at 10pm and Sunday 17 February at 6.45am on a driveway on Rougham End in Weasenham.

The victim noticed in the morning it had gone having left it parked up the previous day. The vehicle was a green Land Rover Defender with a black ‘Rhino’ roof rack and a white roof. On the left back window was a sticker stating ‘Viking Society’ and a picture of a wolf’s head.

It follows the thefts two other Landrovers. One was coloured blue, and taken from Lynn Road in Hillington overnight between Wednesday 13 February and Thursday 14 February and a black one from Harling Road in Garboldisham in the early hours of Friday 15 February. It remains unclear at this time if the thefts are linked.

Police would take this opportunity to remind road users to leave vehicles locked and secure at all times – even if left unattended for only a minute.

Anyone who witnessed the incidents, saw any suspicious behaviour or has knowledge of any of their whereabouts should contact police on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
