1988 Defender 90 V8 Petrol ST Shire Blue

WTD: Overland Spares

Just about to set out on a Moroccan adventure and I'm finding myself in need of a spares kit, e.g. UJs, serp belt, filters, wheel bearings, seals, crank sensor for a 2004 Td5 110 XS CSW.

Is anyone offloading a ready-made kit to recoup some cash in the next week? Worth an ask methinks? JB

Thanks for that snippet Steve......Well he hasn't.....and neither have you!

Widget why not splash out and buy a TDCI?....Then......You will have!....and so will he.....everyone's happy!

Now why didn't I think of that?! I've been toying with the idea of TDci but maybe next year. Moroc, new house and short-term work contract are first priorities.

Have txtd Jason re td5 spares pack.

Seems like something one of our esteemed 'overland' sponsors should be able to put together, then either sell it complete or maybe even hire as required (along with a fridge, roof tent, awning, sand bridges etc)

Then you'd get a pack with everything you'd need

Vehicle spares for a trip?

My advice is always to build up a good working relationship with the storeman at your local Land Rover specialist.

Get a good relationship and he will lend you the service bits you might need and you just pay for what you have used on your return. Take them a case of beer when you get back and all is good

If you need parts/advice etc when abroad then they will also ship out anything you might need.

It is a system which has worked for us!
