Tire/MPG Question
Currently have a set of BFG Mud Terrains on my Puma and average about 300miles per tank, mostly road/city driving , how much difference will switching to General Grabbers make? Pimped black '07 Puma

I'm about to do the same on my 110 (Td5), mainly as i use it for a "car" quite often, and don't want to wear the MT's out too quickly, plus it's amazing how noisy BFG MT's are (And how quiet the grabbers are too)

I'll let you know my findings.

my MPG did not change when I put the BFG MT. They are bit noisier than the OE General TR but nothing compared with Pirelli Sc MT. Puma 110" SW

I'd imagine that the size of tyre would have more to do with it. I switched from Grabbers to BFG ATs both 235/85R16 and noticed no change in mpg. I bet if you swap from fat MTs to Grabbers you might notice some change but I don't imagine it would be wapping if they were just 265s.

Same here, and same result.

the difference between Road/AT and MT is soo minimal nowerdays- unless you go for something 'EXTREME'

Just put on some Cooper STT muds yesterday - have driven 400kms already (country and city). Fantastic tyre, definitely more stable on cornering (compared to the 235/85 Grabbers) in the city and softer over bumps. Minimal hum at highway speeds. Very happy! 1998 RR HSE
