1988 defender 90 winch challenge truck FS
Its with a heavy heart Ive decided to let my winch comp 90 go as I cant see me getting time to attend comps with me working weekends in my main job and also setting up my new company, I have no time at all for the green beast Sad

I want £6500 for her. no offers at all as ill just keep it! its a good price for the spec you are getting ready to go. will be fully serviced ready to go with years Tax and Test.

SPEC
Completely rebuilt in 2009 and little used since

1989 F reg Lime Green Land Rover 90 Challenge Truck with 300 TDI engine and LT77 box

MOT til Jan 2013. Taxed until Jan 2013 so a years T&T

300 TDI was brand new in 2009 and cam belt recently renewed

New radiator

front goodwinch 9.5tds on plasma rope on custom tapered bumper/steering guard

New high amp alternator

New gear box and clutch

Two new leather rear axle seals

rear tub side protectors in satin black

Whitbread Truck cab roll cage with cross over in roof bars.

North offroad challenge wings with aluminium chequered plate tops

Simex extreme Trekker (the centipede off road tyres) 35x10.50 R16 on single bead lock wheels

30mm wheel spacers x4

Devon 4x4 extended plastic arches

Gwyn Lewis challenge suspension rear arms and damper mounts.11" pro comp dampers and springs in yellow.

HD rock sliders.

QT Diff guards,

Devon 4x4 heavy duty steering bars.

Rare tough Salisbury disc braked 24 spline rear axle with detroit LSD

Rebuilt 24 spline front axle with Detriot LSD.

X-eng Disc hand brake with new brake caliper and cable.

Four recent new brake discs with pads and braided hoses.

Timken wheel bearings and new UJ's in props

Rear winch fitted with Warn 9.5 XP 6 HP motor with brand new Durite solenoid in a custom rear crossmember.

Series doors with easily removable door tops

The Land rover has recently been sprayed with raptor anti chip paint underneath chassis and inside rear tub as well as rear arches. It also has amunition box fitted in the rear for tools etc.

Small mountney steering wheel fitted.

Swingaway tail gate

gutting yes but I cant see me getting any time at all for such a labour intensive hobby that is winch challenging for a couple years! Will get another then or build one Very Happy

I know where it is aswell, i think i pass it every time my wife drags me to Tesco. If everything is under control you are not going fast enough.

My god mate I could not pâté with her if she was mine but I understand what it's like tho as I got rid of my old range rover bobtail as it was costing a lot to keep going Sad, good luck with the sale mate and if she has not gone by April I might be in contact with you Wink

Its got a twin parked up at OED down here then spotted it less than 10 mins ago. If everything is under control you are not going fast enough.

Do you mean OEC?

if so thats one of the guys who works there trucks, its a 200 tdi IIRC but no rear winch, std class (or it was last time it competed), std shafts etc too, same colour though Cheers

This one drives a dream! drives arrow straight, silent over the bumps and a good engine note! brakes well due to the brand new brakes etc. 2008 Santorini Black 110 XS USW (Sold)
