From memory the switch loom is very close to the radio aperture, so I guess it's possible that you may have damaged it in some way or dislodged one of the connectors in the switch harness.
It's a bit too close to be a coincidence! Pete |

Did you disconnect the battery before starting work on it? If not you may have accidentally shorted something. Check the appropriate fuses for the items that aren't functioning properly.
Failing that and all is fine check the connections to the rear of the switches that nothing looks obviously broken. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R 🇬🇧ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ¥ó ®ó §ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ·ó ¬ó ³ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ³ó £ó ´ó ¿ðŸ‡®ðŸ‡ªðŸ‡ºðŸ‡¸â›½ï¸ðŸ›¢ï¸âš™ï¸ðŸ§°ðŸ’ª |

The connections to the back of the switch seemed absolutely fine, but I didn't disconnect the battery so that may be it. Where are the fuses and which is the one I'm looking for? This electronics business is all very new to me I'm afraid!

Fuses are behind a panel where your knees are when sitting in the driving seat

Turns out it was none of the above... A corroded wire in the door panel?!
Bye bye £120 |

Should have had a go yourself and saved your money if it was just a wire replacement. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

I'd have still paid above and beyond what it was worth for them to find out what the problem was... I needed it fixed quickly so I could let everyone outside my car hear my great new tunes!
