Useful addtional gauges
In the future I would like to add a couple of additional gauges to the TD5 and mount them in say a MudStuff pod.
So which ones? Don't want a cockpit like a 747 so maybe:

RPM
Oil Pressure
Oil Temp
Volt meter
Boost
Outdoor temp

You could go on forever, i.e diff oil temp, gearbox oil temp, transfer case oil temp, intercooler before and after temp, fuel pressure, vacuum gauge. 1999 Defender TD5 110

Why not add a Scangauge unit that gives all these readings on an easy to read screen and has the ability to clear engine faults ... with only one wire connection...
just a thought ..... Poppy - TDCI (Puma) 110XS 2.2 - Camper conversion - see the build here - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic56530.html

As an alternative there is also the UltraGuage , some positive reviews on this site.

The more gauges you have.
The more you worry about.

Madman EMS 2? Does all those things and more..... don't even need to fit them into a separate holder.

It is what I am going to go for.

The digital unit looks nice and compact...but analogue gauges feel a bit more old school visually more appealing I think. 1999 Defender TD5 110

I agree, and there is no substitute for a analogue boost gauge, but at the same time for you to have all the features you want you are looking at a minimum of 4-5 gauges.... which normally just looks 'boy racer' so losing the old school look.

But depends on what your preferences are- I always try to make things look like they were originally there.

I see what you say but the MadMan Digital doesn't fit the OEM look
A fine line between functional and visually appealing and OTT boy racer look 1999 Defender TD5 110

Nice install. Is it readable when on the move?
