Yeah, same here. Will wait until nearer the end of the warranty period or when I upgrade the headlamps. Will do the same with some hinge bolts that are also showing signs of rusting.

my solutions:
1. solution: a. take off the rims and clean the rust b. spray it with cold zinc c. spray it with black epoxy 2. solution a. bought the STAINLESS STEEL rims on ebay or http://www.wipac.com/acatalog/Components.html |

Trouble is the rims will still be rusting away underneath the chrome rim covers 2.4 90 XS

Just had mine done on warranty.
They replaced the covers (which were disintegrating) but I suspect the lights are corroding underneath. I'll get them done again when the warranty expires or change the lights. One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS + New Defender 110 First Edition |
