Customer at work has one. Lovely vehicle, beautifully made! And bloody powerful too, if you've got a tendancy to have a heavy right foot, then you'll be racking up prize points pretty quick!
He finds it more of a practical daily driver than the previous Aston DB9 he had, of course that depends on how much space you need! (ps: I'd go for the V10 ) An engine to TDi for! "Land Rover- Proudly turning drivers into mechanics since 1948" |

It has got to be a R8 but probably a V8, other than the extra 2 cylinders any other must haves or things to look out for ?

Fantastic cars !! They are very docile, but alot of fun when you want. The v8 is considered the drivers car of the 2. A good mate had one for 18months loved every minute and preferred it to all the 911's he's had. he will get the v10 at some point. The only down side was depreciation, another reason for the V8 Servicing wise cost were comparable with many normal cars

Thanks for the replies.... What about a BMW Z3M, not the prettiest but 325bhp and 2 seats could be a stop gap until I can afford to run an R8 ... Anyone got one or had one ?

My mate had the Z3M Coupe. The power to weight ratio is awesome. I was allowed a couple of goes in it and I loved it. He used it as his daily drive as couldn't warrant/afford 2 cars and he never had any dramas with it, including going to mainland Europe every year to do a 'Top Gear Route' and a couple of laps of the 'ring. His only gripe was that they're only 5 speed (as the 6 speed box was to big or something along those lines), 6th would've been nice on the motorways etc. only sold his to buy a house. Strong people are harder to kill and generally more useful!
