WTD TD5 exhaust manifold
Yes mines got the dreaded screech, so before getting one from EBay wondered if anyone on here has an old one? Doesn't matter if its warped as I can machine it flat, I just wanted to have one done so when I remove mine I can refit the new one.

Good idea, ones that have previously warped and been faced seem less prone to failure in the future.

I'm no expert in metallurgy so I have no idea exactly why. Maybe the high EGT are some sort of extreme heat treatment.
