It may still be difficult to prove that they were all involved in nicking those Defenders. The Subaru theft might be nailed on but at best the unit owner may just get processed for handling stolen chassis. Without any more proof/admitions then it could just be a few slapped wrists.

The vehicle parts included chassis, gear boxes and door panels. A vehicle examiner attended the location and identified parts belonging to vehicles that had all been reported stolen in January this year.

The man is currently on police bail until March 21.

His arrest is one of the latest in Operation Castle, a three-month operation which started last week.

In the first week of the operation police recorded 69 arrests across Kent.
