It doesn't come around too often that the moon is visible on the horizon as the sun is rising.
I tracked the moon for 4 days the other day and was lucky with the sunrise. The morning before was completly overcast, but imagine my suprise when I woke up on the day in question (which was Thursday just gone) and there was the moon. I picked up my kit and still in my dressing gown, scaled my back fence into the field behind just as the light of dawn was coming over the horizon......... The sunrise on Thursday even got a mention on local radio down here later in the day. I captured this (albeit a bit late) of the sunrise over Sandbanks from the bridge of the vessel I was on the very same morning with my Cwapberry....
If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |
