Can you tell the make and model of your regulator/ controler, and i this has tw isolated output for each battery otherwise
you seem to be conecting in parallel the batteries with a small section cable. I say small section cable as thoses panels will produce up to arround 3.3 Amp. Cheers |

Souinds as though I may need fuses.
This is the controller http://www.sunstore.co.uk/EP-Solar-Duo-Bat...v-10A.html I will probably wire one panel up to the other so that only one lead goes into the controller! Sunstore are supplying the cable also. Good thick stuff apparently. These are the panels... http://www.sunstore.co.uk/12v-20w-Monocrys...Panel.html |

Glad I got it right Luismi, thanks. A couple of fuses and job done then I don't think the rest of the switchboard has fuses though so that will keep me busy

Hi Zag, study your swichboard carefully... At first I thought also my boat switchboard did not have fuses, but then I discovered the switches were with incorporated automatic fuses!
