In Land Rover terms then yes expensive, but as a classic car I think its quite reasonable.
Proper restorations (ie not a quick blow over and new tyres!) are starting to increase in value. There is an unrestored '58 on eBay at the moment that is steadily climbing (I'm outbid now ), assuming the parts and labour required to restore it makes this one look alot more reasonable |

I'd definitely swap my 08 90 XS SW the right Series in the right condition.

I'm actually doing my finances to see if I could afford it. The head says no but the heart isn't listening.

It's rare as. Buy and restore back to the road rather than total resto.
Will be worth serious dosh in the future for sure. Look at 1949-1952 S1 prices! Looks lush. It's a shame my '58 was fitted with indicators at some time in it's life! 1951 80" S1 2.0 1995 110 300TDI 1995 90 300TDI |

Very nice but why leave the three drill holes in the dash to the right of the steering wheel and I wouldn't have thought a plastic washer reservoir and electric pump were authentic period accessories ?
