guys - mr muppet here !
as those that know me will be aware I've had a few issues along the way...... any how as such I've numerous times looked for loose heat shield and engine hoist eye (don't have one of them unless it fell off) but I do have the heat shield and each time I've checked all seemed good. in hindsight like a prat I now suspect I only ever checked the retaining nuts at the top and not the two at the bottom....... any how was outside looking for bits of engine electrics to disconnect (for some reason I'm thinking its gonna get nicked tonight.....)  
and as I'm doing a little polishing under the bonnet  I find the heat shield has both of the lower retaining bolts missing.
so to the question - those with experience of the lower retaining bolts missing (or loose) whats the chance of not having the heat sheild rattling significantly? |
